Life in plastic ain’t so fantastic. Recently, zero-waste stores are becoming more common here in the city and rightfully so. It’s not like we can shop somewhere else, right? In honour of Plastic Free July and to celebrate months’ end, here’s where you can shop till you drop in bulk and packaging-free.

Live Zero

Surprise, surprise (not!), topping the list is none other than Live Zero itself. Pioneering the zero waste shopping in the city, it’s become the go-to if you’re on the hunt for reusable and biodegradable packaging. From home goods to body care and everything in between, it’s got everything that you’ll ever need.

No!W No Waste

With Hong Kong’s busy lifestyle, it can be challenging to find the time for something as simple as shopping let alone zero-waste. Fortunately, Bea Johnston gave birth to No!W (No Waste), a one-stop-online-shop for all your daily needs. Helping the planet made easy right at the comfort of your own home, so save us the excuses people!

Edgar

We’re over the moon as Edgar moves from K11 to Wan Chai’s Moon Street. Straight outta Europe, it landed in the East back in 2016 and has grown to one of the most distinctive zero-waste stores in town. The displays may be relatively small but it houses a wide array of home and body care products (and food!) that are all-natural, organic and fair trade. Its welcoming exterior is hard to miss so make sure to stop by.

From heaps of containers in all shapes and sizes to all-natural snacks, it’s got it all and more! Seed isn't just a lifestyle, it's saving the planet.
