PizzaExpress is serving an exciting all-you-can-eat brunch this May

Throughout May (6th-7th, 13th-14th, 20th-21st) PizzaExpress at Wing Fung Street is doing a special all-you-can-eat brunch with an option for free-flow on alcoholic drinks. We tried it last weekend and we will tell you: it’s really fun. Think tall windows, bright sunshine, live music, free flow mimosas and fresh citrusy pasta. Perhaps it's because PizzaExpress understands the importance of freshly baked pizza because their new all-you-can-eat brunch isn’t a buffet, but an order-whatever-you-want-on-the-menu kind of deal. There is a special brunch menu with a selection of food and drink items that are ‘free-flowable’, including brunch-y dishes exclusive to the event.

We started our brunch with a glistening glass of mimosa, and an aperitif of cold cuts & Caprese salad. On the window-side, there was a buffet section of soups and baked dough balls. Served in adorably tiny cups, PizzaExpress’s baked dough balls came with their signature triplet of garlic butter, basil pesto, and/or tomato pesto.

The pizzas come in smaller portions of four slices-- the perfect tasting size, and for that reason, of course, we ordered ALL of the ones available. The FIORENTINA with spinach, egg, olives, garlic oil and parmesan was one of our favourites (very brunch-y!) and in true all-you-can-eat fashion, we dipped our pizza ends in the garlic butter and basil pesto provided in the window-side table.

But our favourite had to be the SPAGHETTI AL GRANCHIO with crab meat, anchovy paste, garlic oil, parsley, chilli flakes, white wine and lemon oil. We squeezed the lemon wedge available all over and finished the whole thing in a flash… of course, we ordered two more plates of those right after. We couldn’t have enough!

For those who love their eggs and love their pizza (or love them together at the same time), PizzaExpress's brunch is highly recommended.
