French beef paired with world-class wine

This September, INTERBEV, France’s inter-professional association of meat and livestock collaborated with Business France, which supports the international development of the French economy, to organise a series of culinary events. Our editor was honoured to be a part of a French beef tasting with a wine-pairing experience at the authentic French bistro- Winebeast.

The tasting dove right into experiencing the freshness and tenderness of French beef, starting with a delicious beef tartare and a crostini beef sausage. The crunchiness of the crostini was paired perfectly with the soft texture of the beef sausage, and the beef tartare well-demonstrated the true French beef taste.

The main course played with various flavors of textures, beginning with a beef fillet with mustard, and veal cooked to perfection in red wine. Each course was paired with a different, aromatic wine, perfectly complementing as well as bringing out the authentic flavors of the French beef.
