This new Vietnamese hotspot serving up “The Lunch Lady” noodles is stirring quite a hype. One of their signatures “Bun Thai” comes with a Vietnamese style tom yum broth, prawns, squid, raw beef, fish balls, basil and spring onion. Yuzu is a huge trend right now. Something between a lemon and an orange, the yuzu is super sour and incredibly fragrant. Omikuji girl is a cocktail made with yuzu juice, chilli tequila, barley shochu, cardamom, shisho and five-spice. This one’s a cute and interactive dessert for the sour chasers. Lemongrass sorbet with a swirl of lemon confit is placed on a bed of crunch. An intricate lemon-shaped sugar art filled with basil foam is placed on top to be cracked for the diner’s enjoyment. Dalloyau is filled with citrusy sour bites. The tartelette au citron is a lemon tart with lemon curd and confit citron zest. The douceur exotique is a shortbread cake with passion fruit & banana cremeux, passion fruit glaze and vanilla mousse. The three macarons shown are the fleur d’oranger (Orange blossom with vanilla cream), gingembre citron (Lemon with gingery cream) and citron (lemon with lemon curd).
