Thanks (well, not really!) to the unpredictable nature of Hong Kong’s dining scene in the current pandemic climate, food delivery platforms and takeaway services have been the diners’ saving grace for a sense of normalcy. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our friends from the F&B industry which saw closes and curfews left and right. However, here to provide a sense of relief to the city’s F&B scene is the newly launched digital platform, HEYPARK.

“Digital platforms are the biggest change to the restaurant industry in a while and it is very important to stay with the times and keep your brand moving forward.” shares Elliot Ng, the one-half of Wingman.

HEYPARK says hello
Powered by telecommunications giant, HKT, HEYPARK is a digital F&B-focused which has the restaurants and the customers in mind. Via the app or website, diners can either place orders in advance for pick-up or purchase in-store via the QR code cashless - giving us “touch-free" benefits during the current COVID-19 situation. Sporting a simple and straightforward design, merchants and restaurant owners are granted the opportunity to manage their business any time of the day, offer and provide one-stop services with no hassle and even with minimal resources.

Hitting it out of the (HEY)PARK

Providing start-to-finish solutions to restaurant owners, HEYPARK aims to maximise operational efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining the process and going cashless. Via HKT O2O DIY solution platform, merchants can instantaneously update and revamp menus as they see fit with a push of a few (virtual!) buttons. “We are always looking for new ways to make our customers' lives easier when it comes to ordering, and HEYPARK's system is super easy to navigate and order through. It is also very nicely presented and highlights our brand nicely,” Elliot positively remarks about the app’s design.

And staying true to their focus on customer convenience, the app accepts a total of 9 different payment methods including Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Tap & Go, Alipay and WeChat Pay. Easily supporting self-ordering and takeaway services, this grants diners the opportunity to eat out (with social distancing measures in place) again.

HEY(PARK) good-lookin’, what’s cookin’?
Of course, as a publication that highlights the food scene in Hong Kong, it wouldn’t be right if we don’t let you in on some of the hottest restaurants available on the platform! Featuring a wide array, there’s a little something to suit everyone’s palate.

Because there’s no better comfort food than burgers, diners can now get their fix any time of the day (or night, let’s be honest!) and anywhere for that matter, at the all-American joint Honbo. From the juicy double cheeseburgers to the must-try chicken buns, they’ve got it all!

Only serving you with the best the city has to offer, wing specialists Wingman is now on the HEYPARK list. Perfect for gatherings of any kind (as long as it meets the restrictions!), nothing else does bring people of all ages, shapes and sizes together, the way a plate of wings does.

Wellington Street’s famous cafe/wine bar/event space has jumped the HEYPARK to continuously provide you with their scrumptious eats, impressive selection reds and whites or just a cuppa joe for a quick afternoon pick-me-up.

Second Draft
Another one of the celebrated chef May Chow’s creations, Second Draft is now on HEYPARK for your fix of the best funky-fusion fare and craft beers on this side of the island minus the queues.

Common Ground
And by the same brains behind Interval, the not-so-hidden gem that is Common Ground has also made it on to the HEYPARK ride. For a slice of casual comfort food with an Asian twist, this is the place to be!

One of the best things to happen to our city’s celebrated dining scene, no doubt this is what it needs and deserves! By seamlessly merging the offline world of F&B and technology, this allows restaurants to provide the best service possible by retaining that connection with the customers.

“Using HEYPARK's platform we will be able to still interact with our customers when they come to collect their food, which is a great benefit for us as we love to meet people who enjoy our food.” Elliot positively remarks.
