Keeping it traditional in Hong Kong doesn’t mean keeping inspirations completely Chinese or completely Western. It’s always been a mix, and it has been for a long time. In Hong Kong tradition is timeless but also ever-morphing. These are some ideas that are being explored in gala event “Cross Generations @Mart Box” at the PMQ. From 28th of June to 2nd of July, Cross Generations will explore how modernity and tradition can blend harmoniously in Hong Kong’s local brands.

Foodwise? Highlights include: Pork Crackle Bamboo Noodles, a crossover with Kwan Kee Bamboo Noodles and authentic British snack brand Mr. Porky. Local handicraft beer that mixes beer (Mak’s Brewery) and cane juice (Kung Lee Sugar Cane Juice). Salty Fish Burgers an exclusive ‘east-meets-west’ burger from your favourite Boomshack. Pineapple cookies with Coconut cream and popsicles inspired by ‘old’ Hong Kong.
