Honored by the Thai Royal Family, and designed to be a represntation of Royal Thai dining, Blue Elephant's founder and award winning master chef Nooror Somany presents us with food that is literally fit for a king.
The King Prawns Tom Yum Goong is the highlight of the restaurant, with rich spices imported straight from Thailand, including that of lemon leaves, lemon grass, lime juice and chilli, and of course the huge king prawn that float grandly on top. The flavour of the king prawn seeps into the soup, making the soup incredibly fragrant. It's spicier and stronger than what you might be used to, so brace yourself!
Doesn't everyone love the idea of secret recipes? Their version of Phad Tai with King Prawns has a homemade secret sauce by Nooror Somany, along with Thai dried soy bean curd, sprouts and spring onions. A gigantic char-grilled Thai Shrimp with Sea Salt is then planted on top. The noodles are homemade as well, a truly authentic version. The Thai garlic also adds a great strong punch, so if you're a fan of garlic, you will love this.
This one's a Hong Kong exclusive. This Warm Durian Tart is made from durians from Thailand, Mascarpone Cheese, Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheese. The whole creamy mixture is then baked in an oven. We loved this!
