Julian Royer to bring his winning formula to Hong Kong

As previously reported, celebrated French chef, Julien Royer is opening a restaurant in Hong Kong in June to be called Louise. Royer, the mastermind behind the number one restaurant on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant list, Odette in Singapore, is thrilled to be partnering with leading restaurant group, JIA Group, for the opening.
While few details are yet available we do know that Louise will be less about fine-dining and more about comforting French classics, but still done in a refined way. We also expect the menu to feature some of Royer’s favourite dishes, both of his past and those that he now likes to eat when dining with his peers.
Louise will replace Aberdeen Street Social, which closed at the beginning of the month. The two-storey space will undergo a complete refurbishment and is sure to have the wow-factor with celebrated designer André Fu at the helm of the makeover.

Will the opening eventually lead to a best restaurant award for Hong Kong? Only time will tell. We are sure though that once open it will be an instant hit.
