Aqua's weekend brunch now has a 'Press for Champagne' button at each table because why not, honestly
15 Oct 2019
Hong Kong's comepetitive restaurant scene takes on a whole new level of competition when it comes to weekend brunch. With the biggest margins made on sales of booze, it's no surprise that the brunch market is one of seemingly constant oneupmanship.
Well, folks, we might just have a winner for the most extra of them all: TST high-rise fine diner Aqua have just launched a Press for Champagne brunch, which, just to be quite clear about this, sees a button placed on your table which you can press to have your glass filled up with unlimited Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008. No more trying to catch the eyes of waitstaff - all you need to do is press the shiny gold button on your table to have a white-suited (of course) champagne butler come straight over and top you up.
As well as the champagne, the brunch includes Aqua's signature Italian/Japanese dishes such as freshly made black truffle burrata with homemade pesto and cherry tomatoes, Hokkaido oysters with Champagne jelly and green apple sorbet, Japanese barley risotto with sakura shrimp, and stone-grilled wagyu beef sirloin served with roasted garlic chips and a selection of sour soy, onion & garlic and sansho pepper soy sauces. Desserts include a homemade tiramisu, yuzu panna cotta and one of the best chocolate mousses in town.
Brunch may never be the same again.
Aqua's Press for Champagne brunch (HK$1,488) is available on weekends and public holidays from 12-3pm until 1 January 2020. It also includes free-flow signature cocktails, wine, beer and sake. Advance booking is required.
