Award-winning chef Dan Hong at Duddell's in January

Come January, Duddell’s is launching a Chefs-in-Residence programme dedicated to exploring Cantonese cuisine's diaspora and evolution around the world. Invited guest chefs will create one-off menus showcasing Chinese-inspired culinary techniques and flavours, to be served for up to three consecutive nights.

The first of the four-part series will feature Chinese-Vietnamese chef Dan Hong from Mr. Wong and Ms. G's in Sydney. 

The award-winning chef is known for introducing authentic Cantonese and regional Chinese cuisine to Australia where, up until the 90s, Chinese fare was strongly Westernised. He opened Ms. G's restaurant in 2010, and two years after launched Mr. Wong, named Best New Restaurant 2014 by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards and ranked ninth in The Australian Financial Review's list of Top 100 Restaurants. 

Get a taste for Dan’s original take on Cantonese cuisine at Duddell’s for two nights this January.
