Date Published : 10 Nov 2017

Smoorsbrod, herring, rice pudding and gravlax: the food of the Vikings isn't so easy to find in Hong Kong. Here's where to get your Scandinavian food fix. Café Renaissance
There’s a new authentically Danish buffet at the Cafe Renaissance. With many of the ingredients (herring! rye bread! gravlax!) imported from Denmark and a menu devised by Danish chef Mads Søndergård. Start out with a whole array of colourful smoorsbrod, and move along to the gravlax and herring. Move onto the homely hot dishes of roasted pork with red cabbage and finish your adventure with the fluffiest sphere Danish donuts you’ll ever try. Some of the buffet’s original sushi station and hot food station is also available. The Danish special buffet lasts until the end of November.
