7 afternoon teas to get you in the holiday spirit

If your weekend brunches and dinners are nearly all booked for December, don’t fret – there’s still afternoon tea for those get-togethers we want to squeeze into our calendar. Here are seven on our radar to get us in sync with the holiday spirit.  

Salvatore Ferragamo Afternoon Tea at Tosca

WHAT: Chef Pino Lavarra of Michelin-star Tosca has created a tea set of fantasies for Ferragamo fans, featuring treats inspired by the pre-spring 2018 collection Vara Rainbow bag and the brand’s signature perfume.
WOM Noms: Prosciutto and cauliflower, papa al pomodoro cannolo, Cecina chickpea cracker with lobster caciucco, spinach and ricotta ravioli with egg and white truffle, Pienza pecorino rice fritter; panna cotta with cream and fruits, hazelnut and passion fruit cream Deliziosa, blackberry, vanilla and jasmine cake, persimmon cake with blood orange glace, banana cake with white chocolate and lemon, vanilla gelato with white truffle

Festive Afternoon Tea for Two at COCO

WHAT: Café-patisserie COCO’s afternoon tea set comes with a winter spiced latte or, if you’re feeling creative, a coffee topped with a printed photo. Request one with you and the significant other, maybe?

WHAT: Aromatic spices and citrus notes punctuate this season's afternoon tea set at Paris-inspired pastry shop Dalloyau.

WHAT: Chef Viola Plundrak of Viennese coffee house Café Landtmann is whipping up sweet treats for The Lounge & Bar to bring foodies a Vienna-inspired afternoon tea.

WHAT: This winter’s afternoon tea at Mirage Bar and Restaurant kicks off with Christmas-inspired sweets, rolls with interesting savoury treats, and wraps up with some mochi ice cream!
